On Tuesday 4 November 2008 NZ’s first ladies of liquid, Emma G & Jess Hartley launched their hot new radio show – LIQUID REC RADIO!

Following on from the incredibly successful “Jess & Emma Show”, Liquid Rec Radio fulfills all your liquid drum & bass desires, delivering cutting edge beats from all over the world, along with all the hottest news, reviews and interviews showcasing the movers and shakers of the moment.

With an impressive 15-year combined repertoire of DJing experience in both drum & bass and house music, Liquid Rec Radio is the culmination of the musical love affairs Emma & Jess have with both. With a special love of anything soulful, moody, intelligent or funky, these ladies have been storming the NZ drum & bass scene since 2005 with their sassy “Liquid Funk Drum & Bass” sound – the sound they have come to represent.

In 2006 Jess & Emma united with Subtronix and Fu Bar to create the successful “Liquid Recreation” monthly club night to showcase the magic of their sound. As well as monthly appearances at “Liquid Recreation”, the duo have lately supported numerous influential international DJs including Patife, Artificial Intelligence, Greg Packer, Marcus Intalex, Doc Scott, Calibre, LTJ Bukem, Lynx, Alix Perez, Nu:Tone and Cyantific. Jess & Emma also feature at many big dance events and numerous club gigs in Auckland, as well as tour from time to time around the country.
