We’ve enlisted pretty much the ENTIRE DJ posse to bring you the sound that’s made your month for the last 3.5 years in a back-2-back-2-back super-special extravaganza!! Liquid Recreation Gold Edition – Saturday 8 August @ FU!
More than a decade old now, the ‘Liquid Funk’ sound has attracted more & more listeners & partygoers over the years. The term coined by the infamous BBC Radio 1 DJ Fabio describes a sound of drum & bass that fuses elements of soul, old school funk, jazz & house. It was this musical quality which gave drum & bass back its sex appeal. The warm analogue sounds, vocals & luscious beats at a smoother tempo have attracted many people from outside the scene as well as have become a REMEDY for drum & bass fans who have grown tired of the harder styles. And this was the motivation behind Liquid Recreation.
For all of you who love to share in a groove, we urge you to come & check out what the ‘Liquid Funk’ movement is all about. Once again the LR crew will take you on a journey as we dig through our crates, in search of all the golden tunes that have shaped this magical sound.
